The purpose of The Herb Society of Greater Cincinnati is to promote interest in the growing and use of herbs and to exchange information and experiences related to herbs. In order to achieve this purpose, members will be expected to contribute of their time and talent.
Meetings
Meetings are held the third Thursday of every month at the Wyoming Civic Center. Hospitality beginning around 9:30 AM is followed by the business meeting and lastly a program featuring topics on gardening, cooking, crafting, or herbs.
Focus Groups
Focus Groups were created to enhance educational growth by affording members additional time to spend on a specific area of interest. These groups inspire more members to participate and provide a small-group setting for new members to blend into the larger general-meeting format.
Scholarships
The Herb Society of Greater Cincinnati is pleased to offer scholarships annually to college students whose intent is to work in a horticultural related field.
